In April of 2016 I created a simple logo / graphic that symbolized the sense of sadness and loss that myself and many Philadelphia Flyers fans were feeling when they heard the news of the passing of their founder and owner Ed Snider. My logo went on to become one of the key images for the Snider family, the fans and Flyers organization in their memorials honoring Mr. Snider.

 

 

During the summer of 2016 Flyer’s Goalie Michal Neuvirth decided he wanted to use his helmet design for the upcoming season to pay tribute to Mr. Snider. He had his artist David Gunnarsson of daveart.com reach out to me about using my logo as the featured element in the design. The helmet came out fabulous and I am honored to have my work be a part of it.
